Forced redundancies, pay packets slashed by 200 Euro's and then locked out. Dublin Dockers enter week 13 of the dispute with employer Marine Terminals Limited (M.T.L.) owned by UK based Peel Ports Group which is 49% owned by Deutsche Bank. The company forced redundancies on a quarter of their workforce including union delegates and slashed their wages by over 200 Euro's a week. SUPPORT THE DUBLIN DOCKERS!

Rex Munn aged 84 was affectionately known as "The Singing Socialist". Rex was a legend of the Labour Movement in South Australia, the President of the MUA Retired Veterans Committee, a wharfie of 36 years culminating in his election as Vigilance officer of the WWF in Port Adelaide leading to his retirement in 1987.
