Globally, more than 150 million children live or work in the streets. There are 20,000 street children in Cambodia and more than 500 live in Siem Reap around the Angkor temples. Friends International initiated the Kaliyan Mith program with the objectives of protecting street children, reintegrating them into education, and preventing new children from having to work or live in the streets. Together, building futures.
