As terribly violent as leg traps are, most of the furbearers exploited in the fur industry, are doomed to even worse lives. 80% of all the fur comes from farms. As with other intensive-confinement animal farms, the methods used on fur farms are designed to maximize profits, always at the expense of the animals' needs.
