Call for Entries: Reel Earth - the 4th Aotearoa Environmental Film Festival
Based in New Zealand, Reel Earth is an established festival which aims to connect audiences with quality contemporary films focused on the environment. Subject matter ranges from natural history to environmental & social justice. Reel Earth recognizes and rewards excellence in filmmaking, and aims to inspire filmmakers to create and successfully market high quality films about the environment.
Competitions ($5000 in cash prizes):
Best New Zealand Film (5 prizes including best young filmmaker)
Best Feature Film (3 prizes)
Best Short Film (3 prizes)
Best Ulta-Short Film (3 prizes)
Entry Deadlines:
EarlyBird: 25 January
Regular: 15 February
Late: 5 March
Extended: 12 March
