Thousand of Burmese are going to the Indian border area daily, in the hope of finding work and enough money to survive. Some people enter the India border site and work as grocers, and some families have shifted to the border site and work handloom jobs. Most of the goods from Burma enter Mure (border site) to Imphal (the capital city of Manipur, Inida) to other places in india. Border Gate(1) had been banned since the September Revolution in Burma. But Border Gate(2) from which most of the goods from Burma are exported to India, remains open.
