by Damien Lawson last modified 2009-03-29 02:39

"Switch off Coal and Switch on Renewables" is the very clear message being sent to State and Federal Governments this Earth Hour by community climate activists who have occupied Hazelwood Power Station in Victoria's Latrobe Valley today.

Nice work, we need more direct action in the climate movement agaist the real pollutors, turning of your lights for an hour is hardly "action".

I would love to see this footage but my windows cant find afunction on the internet that can open it !!
- If this was done for publicity - it would seem people have shot themselves in the FOOT !

That is a terrible waste of human resource in an area that needs every bit it can muster :(

flash player?

Can't you watch the flash player version? To be able to play the m4v you probably want to download VLC - http://videolan.org, it will play pretty much any video you can throw at it.
