Peaceful candlelight vigil ended with arrest

A spate of arrests have been going on in Malaysia over these few days. In Penang, a human rights group, SUARAM organised a peaceful candlelight vigil. However, it ended with the arrest of the emcee. Citizen Journalist Chan Lilian was there at the candlelight vigil to show solidarity to the Malaysians who were arrested and captured the event on video. Read more…
