Nationwide Stop Lynas Protest

The Johor Yellow Flame (JYF) group organised a 3 days public awareness campaign in Plaza Sentosa, Johor Bahru from July 13 to 15.

For the 3 days event their main purpose was to let the public know of issues such as Anti Lynas, Save Pengerang, and Bersih through the display of scenes captured on photographs the public get to know of happenings not told by the mainstream media.

The other purpose of the event being on July 14, is that all major towns nationwide concurrently held a one day Stop Lynas Action protest. A signature collection campaign was held throughout the event to record the public's support.

The Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) is a rare earth processing plant being set up in Kuantan, Malaysia, will potentially impose tonnes of toxic waste on their lives and livelihoods.
