Behind the wall we create our own ways to communicate... "Bonseng" is 1 of 4 video diaries made by children living in juvenile detention in Tangerang, Indonesia. The Kampung Halaman Foundation and PKBI Jakarta Timur did this project around the Indonesia independence day, 17 August 2006. The children produced this video diary over 10 days, where Kampung Halaman were facilitators and PKBI helped to facilitate this process.

Bonseng is 1 of 4 video diaries made by children live in juvenille Tangerang, Kampung Halaman Foundation and PKBI Jakarta Timur did this project around the Indonesia independence day, 17 august 2006. they produce this video diary on 10 days, where kampung halaman facilitators and PKBI help facilitate this process.

hi, I saw this film last night at the Sydney screening & really enjoyed it. I didn't realise there was a sign language being used in these centres. is it used only here or in Indonesia in general? great job making the video! I hope the children continue to make more and contribute to their community. cheers kath
