Full Description
This music video, made as an interpretation of Indonesian popular poetry Hujan Bulan Juni written by Sapardi Djoko Damono. This music video is one of results of Aku, Puisi dan Video workshop (me, video and poetry workshop) as part of kampung halaman lab program at Tasikmalaya, west java.
Hujan Bulan Juni, is a story about a mother who lost her son who
grow up. This story is developed based on true story of street
children's life in Tasikmalaya. for last 2 years, there are lot of
street children in Taikmalaya city. mostly come from youth between
14-20 years old. they come from villages around the Tasikmalaya city
that can not continue the education and hoping can get a job in the
city. sometimes they get back home to meet their parents, just to have
lunch or dinner.
