On Saturday 27 March 2010, couple hours before the Earth Hour, people of Melbourne got together in Federation Square for the screening of "Home", a documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand featuring unique footage from over 50 countries, seen from the air. Then at 8.30 pm, we watched the Melbourne City skyline go "lights off" for an hour. Other entertainment for the night was provided by Hissy Loco on ukulele and fire twirling by Concentrate.
