Full Description
A Czech researcher Tomáš Ryška spent nearly two years in Thail and Laosen mountains in order to search for causes of wrong doing and violence that is done to the Akhas and their children. This dramatic documentary about a small mountain ethnic tribe is based on reality.
Special thanks to the Akhas and many other people without whom this film would never be created. Their names were kept back for security reasons.
Prisoners of a White God received the Grand Prixes at RAFF Film Festival, at Ecofilm Festival, at Festival of the Mountain Films, at "It's Up To You" Film Festival and the Main Prize at Ekotopfilm in 2008!
