Andang and Sarjo | 8'3'' This film documented Andang's experience when he cut his long hair. He met Sarjo who has long story with his job as hair dresser/cutter. Sarjo told to Andang how's his living in Jakarta and his roots. Massroom Project July 2003 – February 2004 Based on the idea of big city problem is an interesting to see, either in on sociologically or cultural frame. City is a never get thru field of ideas. City is the place where the disinter-action phenomenon’s happens (exists), also the place, where the unusual things becomes usual in community assumption. The city is the place for pop culture changes, the jungle which hiding many questions based on these thought. Massroom Project’s idea showed up, involved in it. Documentary is one way to catch the social phenomenon. Massroom Project is trying to see how video medium used in documentary action by “getting into” social phenomenon in urban culture and sharing the experiences to people about the incident in Jakarta.

it was interesting to hear about the hairdresser's working life, and what it's like to be freelancing on the streets of indo. he must meet a lot of interesting people & have some great stories to tell
