Call for Film Submissions
Submissions
are now open for the inaugural Human Rights Arts and Film Festival
(HRAFF). We are looking for evocative and memorable features,
documentaries and shorts which explore human rights issues. For
submission guidelines, visit www.hraff.org.au .
The best entries will be screened alongside internationally renowned
features at RMIT Capitol Theatre in November 2007 and be in the running
to win over $5000 worth of prizes and awards.
Submissions close 31 August 2007.
Open Channel's Short and Sharp Pitching Competition
In association with the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival, this years
finalists will pitch an original short film idea on human rights themes
in front of an audience and panel of industry professionals. The
winning pitch will be awarded production support from OPEN CHANNEL to
produce their film which will be screened at the Human Rights Arts
