Full description

Queensland's only uranium mine, Mary Kathleen operated from 1958-1982 and indigenous people in the area suffered the legacy of uranium induced cancers as a result.  Queensland is today in the grip of an uranium exploration boom, despite the banning of uranium mining in 1982.  FoE Brisbane's Franklin and Rob travelled to the uranium exploration region to speak to indigenous elders about their experiences and views.
