Mayday Hong Kong 2012: Workers, Farmers, Students and the Urban Poor United

In Hong Kong, I think it would be the same in other places as well, we often find the Indonesian migrant workers sing and dance loudly and proudly during demonstrations and marches. 在香港, 我相信在其他地方亦一樣, 我們常會見到印尼移工們, 在示威或遊行中大聲地歌唱和投入地舞動. Among the songs, this one is one of the favorites among the workers in Hong Kong.  I think it is only right for all the "locals" to try to learn it and sing and shout with them together to show support and respect of their cultural and struggle. that's why I made this and hopefully peoples would appreciate and learn more of our dear sisters' struggle. 在她們常會唱的歌曲之中, 這是在香港的移工較愛唱的其中一首. 我想, "本地人" 嘗試去學唱這首歌, 跟她們一起高唱吶喊, 以表達對她們的文化及鬥爭的支持及尊重, 是最洽當的事. 這就是我制作這短片的原因, 亦希望朋友們可嘗試欣賞和學習我們的姊妹的鬥爭.
