The Mnukwar film group in Manokwari explores the stories of women limestone miners. One of them is Welmince Hiowati who has seven children and struggles to get food on the table and pays for her kids' education. The special autonomy package in Manokwari brings investors and money to the district, however many of its residents remain untouched by developments.
