This video is intended to accompany a report on Melbourne Indymedia - http://indymedia.org.au/2010/01/18/saying-no-to-the-indonesian-solution-rally-at-state-library-18-january-2010 - which includes photos and background information, as well as audio files of the speeches in full. Speakers at the rally, which was organised by the Refugee Action Collective and was one of several held across Australia and the world on the day, included Kanchana Senthura of the Australian Tamil Congress, Setyo Budi of the Indonesia Solidarity Forum, Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young, Pamela Curr of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, as well as Nicole from the Refugee Action Collective. In addition, there was a phone link to the boat, allowing the asylum seekers' spokesperson "Alex" to deliver a message to the rally.
