Girls and women of West Java believe that men can solve the family property problems and motivated parents force early marriages to their girls. The women themselves are willing to try several marriages after their first divorce with the hope that they will be happy in their next marriage. In fact, marriage is not always a way out, as what Mumun, Cicah, and Ilah, tell their story in this video.
