more throwies

by people last modified 2008-07-22 02:12

Given the dominance of public space in cities by illuminated advertising, one cheap and easy way for artists and city-dwellers to create their own visual culture is to use Throwies. Developed by the Graffiti Research Lab a division of the Eyebeam R&D OpenLab, LED Throwies are an inexpensive way to add color to any ferromagnetic surface in your neighborhood. A Throwie consists of a lithium battery, a 10mm diffused LED and a rare-earth magnet taped together.

seems you were only testing but i took off the flash player as out transcoding application (indytube) doesn't like wmv files - and it's not just for political reasons :)

Best to try a .move, mp4 or better yet .ogg
