Full description

On June 28th approximately 80,000 workers converged on Melbourne’s city centre to protest the Federal Governments new workplace laws. Despite large businesses threats to dock workers pay for attending the union rallies the protesters caused gridlock in the city from 9am until midday, marching from four points to the intersection of Bourke and Swanston streets. This documentary looks at the events of the day, the views put forth by the union members, the rally speakers, and the workers who marched on that day.
