<media:description><span>Back in 1997 Howard’s 1st step on the road to “Work Choices” was to support Patrick Corporation in its attempt to remove unions representation from Australia’s wharves. That action supported by the Australian Farmers Federation included the training of para-military mercenaries to forcefully take the jobs of unionists. Eventually the actions where defeated by the union in court.
