An overview of the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization's work to control avian influenza (AI) in Indonesia which has 1.4 billion poultry produced for its 238 million population. The H5N1 virus has spread to Indonesia since 2003. The country now has the highest AI human death toll with 115 since July 2005.
