Earth Matters 01 February 2008

Earth Matters is a weekly environment show on 3CR. Today Earth Matters takes a look at the power of film and video, and the role it has in educating and inspiring action on environmental issues around the globe. This program features a discussion with Andrew Lowenthal, one of the founders, editors and organisors of Engage Media. Also on the program today, we pay tribute to the work of independent documentary film-maker, Pip Starr. Many of Pip's films tackled environmental issues. Pip passed away recently and will be sadly and profoundly missed.
