Full Description

Ten years ago Tasmania had the brand of being Australia's (the world's) wilderness state.  Now the brand is changing to Australia's woodchip state.  Tourism, a growing industry, is being effected by the rows of trees of one species and of one age and the clearfell sites.  Government policy is that tourism and the woodchipping industry can go hand in hand... but for how long, and is this true anyway ? There is a swelling tide of opposition to this industry - Artists for Forests, Doctors for Forests, and Timberworkers For Forests.  Graham Green as a timberworker gives an inside perspective to the forest industry.
