Scott Parkin documentary

Seeking video footage of American peace activist Scott Parkin or protests related to his deportation in October 2005 for a documentary about his story in the broader context of activists facing harassment.

Full Description

I'm a co-worker of Scott's at Rainforest Action Network in San Francisco and also a student filmmaker working on a doc. about his story. I'm looking for any video of Scott at any of the demos or trainings he was at in the lead-up to getting detained and then anything of the protests that happened while he was detained (basically anything with Scott in it or about him from that time period). I’ve been able to get quite a few good photos and a little bit of video from different Indymedia sites, individuals etc.

I’ve got pretty good audio content from the coverage that ABC radio did at the time. I’m going to get in touch with them to try to get the TV coverage as well. But I’m really just looking for video to help fill in the gaps and to be able to provide as much visual evidence as possible to back up what we’ll be talking about in the doc (which is basically that the deportation was politically motivated and that its just another example of the kind of harassment activists often face both in Australia and the U.S.).
