The quest to turn Jakarta into a megapolitan has not turned Jakarta into the city of dreams. Its populations face a variety of public service problems on daily basis. Ironically, often the problems are intensified due to lack of transparency and the politicians' vested interests. So what happens when people realise the need for transparency?
