Presenting documentaries from Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, El Salvador and Guatemala...
Friday 8th, 6:pmThe festival will be introduced by Venezuelan Ambassador Nelson Davila speaking about Venezuela today and the achievements of the Bolivarian process...
Then featuring Venezuelan films; starting at 7:10pm, with the acclaimed documentary, Growing Change – ‘a journey inside Venezuela’s food revolution’, directed by Simon Cunich- Winner Best Documentary, Shark Island Documentary Foundation; Official Selection Transition Film Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Latin American Film Festival, Costa Rica Int'l Documentary Festival, Environmental Film Festival, Washington DC.
On Saturday Nov. 9th, at 4:00pm presenting The Open Sky (El Cielo Abierto) by director Everardo González, a documentary about El Salvador and the martyred Archbishop Oscar Romero.
And on Saturday Nov. 9th, at 7:30pm, The Chilean Building by Macarena Aguiló, about the raising of a group of children of Chilean dissidents during the Pinochet Dictatorship.
