Save Happy Valley train blockade court hearing 1
In late April 2007, two Save Happy Valley activists locked on to train tracks in Christchurch to stop a coal train from reaching Lytellton Port. After several hours, they were removed and arrested, and a third activist was also arrested and charged with "communicating with a prisoner". Stop The Weapons Conference
In October 2005, the New Zealand Defence Industry Association held a weapons conference at Te Papa, the national museum. Several days of protests were held against this conference, with the biggest being on the opening day.
