Arte Moris

Dili, Timor-Leste

Arte Moris Free Art School is based in Dili, East Timor. It is the only art school in the country set up in 2003 in the old National Museum in Comoro. The school hosts around 20 Timorese artists-in-residence and regular international artists and volunteers from a variety of media. For more information, please visit www.artemoris.org

Knua (Family Village) is one of the music tracks on the Perecua album from Galaxy, one of the few emerging and popular bands in East Timor. The film mixes a live concert at Palacio do Governo in Dili on the same day of the World Cup Final 08, and footage during the 2006 crisis as well as current photography around the country.
