Susi is an extraordinary transgender who lives in the gate of Balide Church. Born as a female trapped in a male body within a Catholic society, she does not let her sexuality prevent her devotion to the church. A priest gave her a space near the front gate of the church so that she can manage her beauty parlor as well as help decorate the church at every occasion.

Dili, the capital of the land of the rising sun, Timor Lorosa'e, or Timor Leste, has many tourism potentials. However, in reality the facilities and infrastructures to support tourism are not yet developed. Foreigners have instead taken over some of those tourism potentials, and the film urges the Timorese to rise to the challenge. The film is narrated in Tetum with English subtitle.
