Members of the Meranti Bay communities who formed an action committee called the Kampar Peninsula Rescue Society Forum (FMPSK), recently held a demonstration inside the production area of PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP). Many have been infuriated by RAPP's continued logging in the area, which belongs to the indegenous people of Meranti Bay.
