In 2009, Indonesian band Netral used the tunes of Papuan song 'Apuse' for their hit song 'Garuda di Dadaku'. The song was used to motivate the Indonesian national soccer team and its supporters. Many Papuans though were not to happy with the idea. On December 10, 2011, Papuan Voices and Gorby Comen Rasta took back the song and return it to its rightful owner, the people of Papua.
