Chewing 'pinang', or betel nut, is an integral part of the Papuan tradition. People eat pinang as a social tool. It is believed to be a good medicine for healthy teeth. However, people often spit out pinang anywhere, and signs the prohibit people from eating and spitting out pinang are being put everywhere now. This film though urges people to maintain the culture but by also spitting out pinang in the appropriate places.
