CPH:DOX invites filmmakers around the world to submit their documentary films to the 6th Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, running November 7-16 2008 in Copenhagen, Denmark. CPH:DOX 2008 presents 150 films, four international competitions with cash prizes amounting to 23.000 Euros and the DOX:MARKET.

The Sydney Underground Film Festival is an annual festival which runs from 11th - 14th September 2008 at the Factory Theatre in Sydney, and screens quality indie / experimental / arthouse films from Australia and around the world. The Sydney Underground Film Festival provides a platform for exhibition, exposure and critical discussion. The organisers are devoted to renewing local interest in alternative film as part of an international underground film culture.

Memefest is a festival of radical communications which holds an annual competition for radical and innovative use of media. The regular competition has three main divisions open to students: Communications Studies, Sociology and Visual Arts.
