Logging Brown Mountain
Brown Mountain on the Errinundra Plateau has some of the largest remaining old-growth forest in Victoria. The ancient trees which grow there are up to 15 metres in diameter. The Victorian government has sent in loggers to clear-fell the area after promising before the last state election to protect it as part of a network of "iconic forests walks" to be developed in high conservation value forests across Victoria.
