SlutWalk began in Toronto in 2011 as a response to Constable Michael Sanguinetti’s statement at a York University safety forum that “women should avoid dressing like sluts in order to not be victimized.” This sparked a backlash which has resulted in SlutWalk groups forming all over the world to protest a culture that blames victims for rape, and to challenge the attitudes that come with that, which usually leave sexual crimes under-reported as a result. Since 1971, Papuan women have been selling vegetables, fruit, fish and spices. They set up business by clearing space in the center of town beside the Anafre River in Jayapura. Later in the years, migrants also came and began trading there. The are became a market. But the local government's effort to clean up the town center resulted the eviction of the market traders. But finding a non-judgmental ob/gyn is not easy. This film follows the quest of single and unmarried women in getting the right treatment for their reproductive health. Most get unfriendly gestures from the hospital nurses and doctors. When an unmarried woman wants to find the right contraception, she gets disapproval from nurses and doctors and is lectured on morality instead. Although female circumcision in Indonesia doesn’t remove the whole part of the women’s clitoris and labia as in Africa, it is still widely accepted.
