This is the full announcement from Participatory Culture.
Hi All,
We are thrilled to announce a new site we’ve been building: Make Internet TV. Take a look:
Make Internet TV (MITV) is a massive resource full of step-by-step instructions for shooting and creating video. We think it’s the best place to get started with internet video.
The site covers shooting, editing, licensing, publishing and promoting video on the internet; it illustrates these topics with screenshots, photos, screencasts, graphics, text and more. It’s essentially a free online book about video creation and publishing.
We don’t want the site to be a one-way broadcast, so we’ve also started the MITV Wiki http://mitvwiki.org – a connected site where anyone can add resources, links and experiences that are related to creating online video. If you’re interested in sharing your expertise, we’d love to have your help.
The entire project is licensed as Creative Commons BY-SA.
Help us get the word out by sending this email to anyone you know who might be interested in making internet video.
You can also: Digg It and/or Reddit.
Thanks!
