A new African video-based website using Plumi software and other Plone customisations claims to be “the first Television online for Africa and its diaspora”. The “Africa on TV” site is still under construction but already lists many videos hosted externally on YouTube. Content focuses on cultural material, including video of well-known musicians such as Youssou N’Dour, Salif Keita and Oumou Sangare.
