Cinemata hosts online screening of FEU Film Society’s ‘Piyu, I Love You’ film festival

  • 1:00 pm

Cinemata is the official online screening platform for Far Eastern University (FEU) Film Society’s annual film festival, “Piyu, I Love You: Love is a Chemical Reaction.” The 10 films will be exclusively available online on Cinemata from March 29 to April 5, 2024.

The FEU Film Society is a non-profit, university-wide student-led film organisation that aims to nurture emerging talents in filmmaking. “Piyu, I Love You” – with ‘Piyu’ as an affectionate nod to the university’s name FEU – serves as a platform to spotlight emerging talents and narratives from the next generation of student filmmakers. In its digital transition this year, the festival embraces the theme “Love is a Chemical Reaction,” inviting filmmakers to delve into diverse dimensions and interpretations of love across various genres. This exploration extends beyond personal relationships, delving into societal concerns in the Philippines and inviting audiences across the Asia-Pacific to gain deeper insights into the challenges faced within the country.

Cinemata is excited to support the FEU Film Society in bringing “Piyu, I Love You: Love-Bora-tory” to a broader audience. The partnership reflects Cinemata’s commitment to nurturing young and emerging filmmakers and providing a platform to showcase their films.
