  • 4 June 2024
  • 2:44 pm

Preparations are in full swing for DRAPAC24 in Taipei on August 18-19, 2024!

The EngageMedia team is still accepting session ideas on the DRAPAC24 website. We invite interested individuals and organisations to host, co-create, and lead sessions on digital rights topics relevant to three core focus areas: regional solution-making, empowerment of young persons, and adoption of open technology. Applications close on June 15, 2024, 23:59 Bangkok time (UTC+7).

We’re also looking for volunteers from diverse backgrounds and different fields who are interested in sharing their skills or gaining new experiences at the event. Submit your volunteer application here. Deadline: June 30, 2024

Call for Fellows

To ensure the diversity and presence of a broader range of allies at DRAPAC24, EngageMedia is providing limited travel support for selected participants to attend the two-day event in Taiwan this August.

Fellowship slots are extremely limited, and will prioritise participants hosting or speaking in sessions centered on youth engagement. Participants from marginalised and underrepresented groups, as well as those speaking at a regional convening for the first time, will be prioritised.

Selected fellows will receive reimbursements for flights, accommodations, visa fees, and other travel costs.

To apply, log in to your DRAPAC account and submit your application via https://drap.ac/24-fellows/. Applications will close on June 21, 2024, 23:59 Bangkok time (UTC+7). The DRAPAC24 team aims to contact selected fellows within the following week.
