EngageMedia is now opening registrations to attend DRAPAC24 in Taiwan on August 18-19, 2024! DRAPAC24 is an official side event of APrIGF, and will be free to attend upon registration.
All participants are required to create a DRAPAC24 account to register for the event. If you do not have an existing account, you will need to create one. The full DRAPAC24 program and other event information will only be accessible when you are logged in to your account.
Please note that submitting a session proposal does not automatically mean you are registered as a participant. To confirm your participation, follow the registration instructions below.
- Log in to your DRAPAC24 account or create a new account if you do not have one.
- Complete all required information on the registration form.
- If you need a visa to enter Taiwan or a letter of invitation from EngageMedia, please read the section below on visa requirements, processes, and timelines.
- For any changes in your travel plan, make sure to update your registration or inform the organising team.
The general registration deadline is Friday, August 9, 2024 at 23:59 hrs (Taipei time / UTC+8). If you require visa assistance, the registration deadline is Friday, June 21.
Visa requirements
For all attendees, please ensure that your passport has a minimum of six months’ validity from the date of entry into Taiwan. However, US and Japanese passport holders only need their passports to be valid for the duration of their intended stay.
Depending on your passport, you may need a visa to enter Taiwan. Visit the following links for more information:
- Visa-Exempt Entry
- eVisa for Non-Visa Free Countries: If your passport is not eligible for visa-exempt entry, you may be able to apply for a visa online.
- Designated Countries: Participants from designated countries may have to submit applications via specified offices.
If you need a visa to enter Taiwan, you can either (a) request a letter of invitation that you can use to apply for your visa yourself, or (b) request eVisa assistance from the DRAPAC24 team.
Self-application for visa (recommended)
- On the DRAPAC24 registration form, tick “yes” to request a letter of invitation.
- The organising team will send this to you via email.
- You can use the letter of invitation to apply for your visa yourself.
eVisa support
