Aidex '91: inside the Australian arms trade
— March 03, 2008
Aidex '91 documents the protests against the Aidex Arms Trade "Fair" held in Canberra, Australia in 1991. It also investigated the politics of Australian weapons trading in the Asia-Pacific region. It was produced for transmission on Community Access TV who were conducting test broadcasts of community TV on UHF Ch31 in Sydney, Australia. The large protest against Aidex, the police response, and the general public reaction, combined to make the arms traders very wary of staging such a prominent display for a decade and a half. There is soon to be another, so perhaps now is a good time to revisit this history for learnings.

Barrick Gold's mine in Lake Cowal, the 'Sacred Heartland of the Wiradjuri Nation'
— April 26, 2011
Three supporters of the Save Lake Cowal campaign took the journey to the lake on Monday 18 April. Waking up on Tuesday morning on the edge of Lake Cowal to the sounds of birds, water lapping at it's shores and the constant drone of Barrick's mine, Nat, Damian and Ryan explored the lake by foot and then set off from Forbes in a Cessna to take photos and video from the air. These photos clearly show the stupidity of building a mine in a lake bed.

Reclaim The Streets 7
— May 26, 2007
Reclaim the Streets 7, March 1999. Hundreds of partiers in an ongoing Reclaim the Streets occupy several sites in Sydney, including the Eastern Distributor. Global Warming was still just a distant concept to most of us at this point in time, but by protesting about over use of the motor car we were obviously on the right track. September 11 was just another day on the calendar.
