One World is the largest human rights film festival in the world and a major cultural event in the Czech Republic that attracts more than 100 000 viewers annually. Each year One World presents over 100 documentary films from all around the globe and seeks to promote the best quality documentary filmmaking on social and political issues. An important part of One World is the numerous Q&As with filmmakers and experts, screenings for elementary and high schools and outreach activities for the general public including distribution of documentary films, and from 2012 also an industry section for film professionals called East Doc Platform.
