Film is often touted as a powerful tool for supporting social and environmental change. But given film’s opportunity to directly affect the lives of the communities it documents, how can filmmakers and video producers ensure that they can maximise their works’ potential to create impact?
To answer this, EngageMedia and In-Docs have partnered together to host the Impact Talks, a series of public meetings amongst filmmakers, activists, campaigners, film curators, impact producers, and interested audiences to share and discuss experiences and ideas around creating impact through film in the Asia-Pacific.
The Impact Talks are held bi-monthly, and open for anyone to join and contribute to the ongoing discussions. The latest schedule of sessions will be shared here and on EngageMedia’s various platforms.
