The training session by EngageMedia and the Digital Trade Alliance with Indonesian CSOs emphasised the importance of data privacy and security, specifically in digital trade agreements, positioning them to better engage in future policy development.

CSOs need to consolidate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that rights-based approaches are considered in AI governance. EngageMedia held the two-day training to strengthen civil society's position on AI governance in Indonesia.
