If you are a filmmaker, video journalist, or animator from Myanmar, EngageMedia invites you to submit a proposal for a short film on pressing digital rights issues currently happening in the country.One chosen filmmaker will join a talented roster of Tech Tales fellows, and will receive between 4,000 to 5,000 USD to produce a 5- to 10-minute film on a digital rights topic of their choosing."
EngageMedia announces six selected filmmakers from the Asia-Pacific who will produce “Tech Tales”, a collection of films highlighting human rights stories in the digital age. Each fellow will receive up to USD 5,000 towards their films, which together showcase various ways in which online and offline technologies are impacting people’s lives — for better or for worse.
EngageMedia continues to accept applications to produce short films on digital rights issues in the Asia-Pacific. Applications close on 20 January 2021. The selected proposals will each receive between USD 3,000 and 5,000 towards the production of the film.
EngageMedia invites filmmakers, video journalists, and animators across the Asia-Pacific to produce short films on important digital rights issues happening in our region. The works produced will be part of the July 2021 film collection, “Tech Tales: Films about Digital Rights in the Asia-Pacific”.
